Just Scrappin' Happy is a fun and unique paper-crafting shop located in the hills of Litchfield County in northwest CT. Behind the scenes is “Chief Creative Designer," Christy Schimanski. Christy is a crafty wife, mom & paper-crafter extraordinaire.
When her son started school, Christy left the corporate world to be a stay-at-home mom. She quickly decided that her love for crafting would have to be part of her day while her son was in school. She developed a love for scrapbooking and paper crafting and started creating books for her family and friends. As her son got older, she decided it was time to get back into the work force but wanted to incorporate her love for scrapping into her new lifestyle. She decided a scrapbooking job was just the right fit.
Christy expanded her crafting skills by working as the Creative Director at New England Scrapbook Co. for four years. She quickly developed her own style and implemeted new and exciting programs, including the popular "Kit-of-the-Month" series.
With a flair for color and pattern combinations, Christy can put together a scrapbook layout, album or embellishment set that is so gorgeous, you’d think it took a whole team of designers to create.
Christy offers scrapbook page layouts, home décor, mini paper and scrapbook albums, cards, and fun decorative items such as handcrafted magnet sets, bookmarks and more. There is much to see in her little corner of the web.
